Creating Templates
Setting up commonly used messages as templates to save you time and avoid typing errors.
There are 2 types of templates users can generate, depending on their permission level in the platform
- Account administrators can compose and save "Global" templates, which are visible to all users on their account for use. The saved version of this template cannot be edited by other users however, they can make changes to the content before sending the message.
- All users can create and save "Personal" templates, which are only visible to them.
Here’s how it’s done;
1. To create a new template, click Create Template
2. Name your template
3. Use the From dropdown to select the Sender ID to be associated with each time you send this template.
4. Type the content of your SMS in the Message area.
5. When you have completed composing your template, click Save.
NOTE: If your user profile has Administrator permissions, you will be able to check the box to save this as a Global template.
